Votive dedicated to Hermes and the Nymphs

Votive relief of pentelic marble. According to the inscription on the epistyle, the relief was dedicated to Hermes and the Nymphs. On one side the abduction of the Nymph Basile by the hero Echelos is depicted. On the other side are depicted a goddess, probably Artemis, a bearded god, a river deity, Kephisos, and three Nymphs in different stances. Circa 410 BC.
