Volunteering
The contribution of volunteering to the promotion and communication of the unique work of the Lighthouse for the Blind in Greece and in this case the Tactual Museum is important.
The existence of active volunteers, willing to be trained and to substantially contribute to the various actions of the Tactual Museum, has a double benefit, as on the one hand it contributes to the promotion of its offer to the visually impaired ones and therefore of the culture and on the other hand to the right information and awareness of the general community and thus to the cultivation of a consciousness of acceptance, creative coexistence and social inclusion.

Voluntary action at the Tactual Museum is a unique condition, in terms of which the volunteers both contribute to the implementation of guided tours, the implementation of educational programs and wider operation of the Museum and through the interaction with the public and the exhibits and the offered tools they gain knowledge, experiences, multiplying this way their horizons as active and aware citizens.
